It hasn’t been long since Warner Bros. announced that Ben Affleck has been cast to play Batman in the "Man of Steel"

1. If it's going to be part of the Man of Steel franchise, then he should probably be played by somebody that can be dark and brooding, but also capable of championing the good people of Gotham. What about Benedict Cumberbatch?? He was awesome in Star Trek.
Beef him up a bit, and I could definitely see him as a troubled Bruce Wayne. After all, even though Batman is ultimately good, he should be the kind of guy you don't want to run into unless you need help.

2. If Christian Bale can't do it ( and it looks like he doesn't) i think they should go with an un-known actor to play the new Batman for the upcoming Batman vs Superman movie! Having Ben Affleck play Batman will be a monumental disaster!
